In December 2025 POAP announced the Airport POAP Rally 2026, a year of location POAPs at 100 airports around the world. I was “super excited” and set up a site to track it at airport.poaprally.com. The rally was POAP’s; the tracker was mine.
It was built the same way as the 612 POAP Challenge feed: POAP2RSS feeds for every airport, merged with rssrssrssrss and imported into Micro.blog, so each claim became a post such as “POAP 7586561 claimed by noah.savedsouls.eth at I passed through Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) in 2026.” The posts were syndicated to @poapchallenge on Mastodon and @poapchallenge.com on Bluesky, and I planned rally updates on r/POAP. Weekly Thing 337 linked readers to “Follow the Rally.”
The 612 challenge had also led me to set up POAP Challenge at poapchallenge.com, meant to host “a challenge or two a year,” and to register poaprally.com. Two months later I built Flight Path on the same domain, a globe of the same rally from my own CSV of airports and drop IDs. The tracker read live claims, so it could not outlive POAP. The last Internet Archive capture is from May 2026, and the host no longer answers.
