# Stone/Steel/People

A square photo book of a little over 30 of my pictures, one to a page, made with Blurb after a 2010 photography workshop.

Stone/Steel/People is my [first photo book](https://www.thingelstad.com/2010/12/05/first-photo-book.html). I made it after Layne Kennedy’s 72 Hours workshop at the Minneapolis Photo Center, and named it for what I photographed there. Two weeks before it came out I wrote about [editing it down](https://www.thingelstad.com/2010/11/15/editing-a-book.html) to the pictures that belonged.

The book is square, with one image to a page and “a little over 30 pictures,” and I reckoned it took “between 10 and 15 hours.” I published it through Blurb, where it is [still for sale](https://www.blurb.com/b/1813441-stone-steel-people).
