Stone/Steel/People is my first photo book. I made it after Layne Kennedy’s 72 Hours workshop at the Minneapolis Photo Center, and named it for what I photographed there. Two weeks before it came out I wrote about editing it down to the pictures that belonged.
The book is square, with one image to a page and “a little over 30 pictures,” and I reckoned it took “between 10 and 15 hours.” I published it through Blurb, where it is still for sale.
