Another Thing is my podcast and my third “thing,” after the blog and the Weekly Thing. The first episode, “How do you start a podcast?”, came out on October 5, 2025, and I announced it in Weekly Thing 329 as “the podcast that I’ve been thinking about creating for a couple of years.” In it I talk about a chalkboard sign that told me to “be brave enough to suck at something new,” a story about Dr. John Carlis, whose class I took while studying computer science at the University of Minnesota, and an earlier attempt to turn the Weekly Thing into an AI-narrated show.

That is still the only episode. In Weekly Thing 346 I wrote that I was not giving up on the show. In 2026 I built Another Thing Builder to make episodes, then retired it in October 2026 and moved podcast authoring into WT Builder. Thingy can search the episode transcripts.
